A Christmas Story- Red Ryder Carbine Action BB Gun

The town made it to Higgbee’s to look at the window and Ralphie sees the Red Ryder Carbine Action BB Gun- We enter his imagination.

Meanwhile, we had to quickly get Jean into his red ryder costume so he could hand Ralphie his gun.  I found the fabric for the “chaps” at this amazing  fabric store in New Jersey over the summer. Sometimes things just work out, and I had just enough fabric for Jean’s chaps and Ralphie’s chaps! (We see his in Ralphie to the Rescue)

The vest was made from red velvet fabric and sparkly red/silver fringe I bought from the same school.

This song sets up the show and the understanding that Ralphie has a big imagination. He enters into the window display and sings a song about becoming the  Red Ryder with the carbine action BB Gun.
